We are very thankful to have such wonderful interns with our office this fall. Here are a few words from 3L Michael D’Amico:
I feel both proud and honored to have been given the opportunity to work as a Legal Intern at Floman DePaola, LLC for the past six months. Steve and Allison are two of the most intelligent, professional, and hardworking attorneys I have had the pleasure to meet. In addition to having unparalleled legal expertise in a variety of different areas of law, they are each kind, genuine individuals who have made my educational experience here a truly enjoyable one. The environment they have created in their office allows clients to feel comfortable sharing their issues and concerns without fear of prejudice, making the typically frightening experience of meeting with an attorney seem like a casual conversation among friends. I have watched countless new and returning clients walk out of this office with a smile on their face, satisfied with both the quality of legal services and the courteous manner in which they are provided. Interning at Floman DePaola, LLC has given me a rich understanding of the practice of law in the area of estate planning and beyond.I particularly enjoyed working on Special Needs Trusts, a specialty of the firm, as those types of trusts give parents of a disabled child the satisfaction of knowing that their child will be taken care of after they have passed away. I feel privileged to have had Steve and Allison as mentors and role models in my journey towards becoming an attorney.
