Do you know of a local law student looking for a legal internship this summer?  We are looking for a research intern who is interested in the opportunity to learn more about current estate planning and elder law issues through research and interaction with partner attorneys.

Responsibilities:

  • research and compile information in the topic areas of: estate planning, elder law issues, State of Connecticut programs for children and adults with disabilities, Medicaid, Medicare, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
  • assist staff in preparing materials for presentations to clients
  • prepare materials and present to partner attorneys

Qualifications:

  • must be 1L, 2L, or 3L
  • excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills and research skills
  • motivated and ability to self direct
  • ability to problem solve
  • organized and efficient

*schedule is very flexible; can do work at the office or from home.
